If you could change one historical event to make the world better, which would it be?
I have always wondered about Mary Tudor and Philip II of Spain. If they had conceived a son then England would have remained Catholic. The Protestant work ethic would not have taken over here and there would be more emphasis on art, beauty, faith and humanity. In time, this would have impacted on US culture and capitalism as we know it may not exist in the same form today.
