What were you doing when you first heard about ?

Answer

I was in the military stationed in Miami at a command there. I was in the NCOIC of the Intelligence Watchfloor hour watch center. My boss had just been counseling a lieutenant and I was a part of that counseling session. I looked up and saw everyone staring at the wall of TV screens and they said to come look just in time to see the nd plane hit. Needless to say we were very busy the rest of the day talking to US consulates and US embassies down in Latin America and the Caribbean.brbrIt took the building until noon to decide to evacuate. Unfortunately, because of my position I had to stay there.brbrNeedless to say, as a member of the military life was not and still is not the same since.
